Save Money On Gas

save-money-on-gas2.jpgNowadays gas prices are not as high as they once were but the shrinking economy doesn’t make things easier plus it always makes sense to save money however and where ever you can. The thing about saving money on gas is the savings are big when compared to saving on other items such as food, and clothes. If you go about it the right way you can stand to save over a thousand dollars every year just on gas. If you are like millions of other Americans then you probably use the car to commute to and from work. If you are living outside the city where you work chances are you are driving over 50 miles and back every day just to get to work. There are also chances that your neighbor and his neighbor are also driving to work which is probably situated in the same area where your office is. Starting a carpool will defiantly make sense if they are three or more people in your neighborhood who work in the same area, around the same time and live a few miles away from where you stay. A carpool is not only a greener and cheaper alternative to driving yourself to work but it is also relatively stress free. If you take turns and they are three cars in the pool you just need to drive once out of the three times that you drive to work, hence reducing pre workplace stress.
